Hey Actress,

Mug shots are a very interesting beast. Unfortunately the industry of “mug shot sites” is very unethical. Basically the same people who run the sites, offer paid services to have them taken down, but then repost them on other properties. CNN just did a big story on it you should check out: http://www.cnn.com/2012/05/29/us/mug-shot-websites/index.html

What it shows is, taking it off the site turns out to be unhelpful, because it’s almost guranteed to be posted on another property, and as a new result, pop back up on your first page.

The best course of action is to work on filling the first page with more relevant content that hopefully outranks an outdated mugshot. If our software isn’t showing its ranking, it might be a bug.
